EXTERIOR

A Harmony Between the Visible and Invisible
HID headlamps
High intensity discharge (HID) headlamps illuminate the road with a crisp light more intense than the headlamps while using less power. Their slim design is a natural continuation of the Sonata's belt line molding.

Welcome light door handles
Lights on the inside of the door handles allow you to easily locate the handles in the dark, while providing a touch of elegance
LED high-mounted stop lamp (HMSL)
Drivers behind you will notice your braking and keep their distance thanks to the LED high-mounted stop lamp (HMSL), which is located in the eye line of those behind.

LED rear combination lamps
LED rear combination lamps that minimize energy consumption create a simple yet modern rear image. Excellent visibility from that angle reduces the possibility of a rear-end collision.
INTERIOR

A LOng-established comfort and grace

Steering wheel
With a steering wheel rim that's 1 cm thinner than its predecessor, the new rim gives you a better grip. A shape adjusted for greater hand comfort also increases handling stability in high speeds.

T-shaped center fascia
The T-shaped center fascia is driver-oriented, top to bottom. Switches, screens and controls are positioned right where your hand, eyes and fingertips expect them to be. Having been transformed from a Y-type to a T-type, the center fascia now faces the driver, enhancing driver safety and visibility.

Door scuffs
A feature common in luxury cars, door scuffs protect the Sonata's sills from scratches and shoe marks. Get in and out, without being too careful.

Rear air ventilation
With rear air ventilation, your backseat passengers can stay as cool or as toasty as they want.
